Another perfect day in Hakai Pass, with sunshine and great fishing along the Racetrack, everyone having a good time.

With everyone being treated to the bonus of an Orca pod passing by and bald eagles feeding on salmon the cameras were getting a lot of use, not to mention the abundance of Coho everywhere. Just when you think it can’t get any better along comes a Tyee. Jim Scholl was fishing with Rick Lozano and had been working the beginning of the racetrack when the mighty Chinook took them by surprise and out into the middle of the pass. A great fish and another member is entered into the Ole’s Hakai Pass Tyee Club with the Chinook tipping the scales at a 33.5 lbs. Congratulations Rick, keep on fishin’!
