Fishing has been terrific this past week and word is getting out not only amongst our guests but also in the wild. While fishing at Bailey this morning Jim and his son Connor had a nice Coho on giving them the usual acrobatic and unpredictable runs. They noticed a sea lion close by and Jim had a feeling it might be looking for an easy meal. Having got the Coho to the boat and ready to net, sure enough right in front of their eyes, Chomp and the coho was gone ! well mostly gone, the sea lion had left them the head and a great fish story to go with it. An absolutely beautiful morning at Bailey Point with Humpback whales providing an incredible show to top it off.
