Grinch cookies are a cinch when you use a cake mix with a few additions!

1 box cake mix (use white for this recipe)

2 eggs

1/3 cup oil

Mix the 3 ingredients above to form the cookie dough…

Then add about 10 drops of green food colour. Stir and then finish blending in the colour by kneading the dough for an even colour.

Roll the dough into small balls, about 1.5 inches, then roll in icing sugar before baking.

Cake mix cookies bake at 350 for 10 minutes. After baking add a Cinnamon Heart candy to the top of the cookie, push in down bit so it is well seated.

Or prior to baking add a candied red cherry if preferred.

These have a nice vanilla flavour, or if desired add some flavoured extract like lemon or peppermint to the cookie dough when adding the colour.
