As we near the end of another very unusual year, the US Thanksgiving seems like a good time to check in and catch you up on what we at Ole’s are up to and what we are thankful for.
Last week the first Mrs. Ole’s had a very special birthday turning 90 years young. Next month Mr. Ole Sr and Jr (Irvin & Keith) will both have birthdays as well so that gives us lots to celebrate going into the holiday season.
So, I guess broken leg does not seem like something to be thankful for, but this made us thankful for health care, steel rods and plates. Roy was thankful when Keith came home from three nights at the hospital.
We don’t know who missed who more.
And we are so very thankful that the Canadian Borders have reopened. Canada has expanded the list of accepted Vaccines for entry and as of November 30 they will be: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Jansenn/Johnson& Johnson, Baharat Biotech, Sinopharm & Sinovac. That list may expand in the New Year, for up to date information you can check travel.gc.ca.
Thankfully, we will be back fishing next year in July & August. Most trips are fully booked, we are thankful for our wonderful guests, there is one spot in July & one in August with some spaces. We are looking forward to our 2020 season more than you know.
So stay safe everyone and enjoy the holidays!
