With the sun setting on the day and our season, it was time for everyone to have one last pass at Barney Point. This summer’s young eagle was still trying out his new wings and the Coho were still biting making it a fitting and beautiful end to what has been a terrific season. The weather has been pretty much ideal all year here in Hakai Pass and the last day was no exception. The final morning for our last group found Karsten Windeler on the water one last time, taking that last pass. Karsten had good reason for optimism as he had landed the largest Chinook, last season! With that in mind and taking in the first light opportunity, he was not disappointed. A nice Coho to finish up the trip. We look forward to 2013 with all our guests and to creating some new memories in Hakai pass that last our lifetimes.
